  For ‚logs‘ upcoming album ‘Eight’ we want to try a new way to release it physically. Therefore it will not only be available as cassette and download but also as a custom made art object. This data carrying sculpture was created by the Russian artist Sergey Prokofiev.
  Sergey wrote the following about his work:
  
  «I like to listen to music for a long time, up to the point when i physically reject it. That’s the way I listened to ‘eight’ by logs. At some moment i felt the core of the music. it was like a little swarm, or a hum inside a forest. And the mood of the music was very similar to mine - suspended in time, uncertain, morphing.
  
  At the same time at one of the very last protest rallies in Moscow the cops where pummelling people with clubs, rising and swinging them at the same angle we see at protests the world over. If you try to cover yourself as your reflexes tell you to you might get an internationally occurring radius or ulna fracture.
  I like the fact that there are no cops in the forest. You can take a walk, kicking dry branches on your way, softly mumble or talk to yourself or have a conversation follow the rhythm of your steps. I like to write a text about a sculpture, created to contain music, listening to that music. It all falls into one another, creating a connected pulse extending the field of perception.
  Let this object flicker at a burning logs’ pace.»
